Fantasy thing.

As I may have mentioned before, I’ve been writing a fantasy thing. I’m not sure what will become of it, it has a large chance of fading away and being forgotten as most (all) of my projects that grow past about 5k words end up doing… but, for now I’m pretending it will be a novel…la… ette…

I’m at about 11k words now and am averaging around 500 words a day on it, but have been pushing that up toward 1k lately. It’s about… magical things, I suppose, and I’m proud to say it is not a LOTR fan fic. There will be no elves or dwarves or dragons in this story, guaranteed.

I wanted to post an excerpt from it, but I still keep going back and changing so many things as the plot evolves that what I post might not even end up being in the actual story… so, um.. I’ll think about that.

I also have some secret good news which I will be able to share next week sometime 🙂 I suppose you can probably guess what kind of news it is…
