… in his time you weren’t allowed to marry a girl until she was 18… i know, so arbitrary! she could have had 4 kids by then…
… in his time people were very concerned about ‘the environment’ and thought it mattered in some way
… in his time people thought it was okay to be any religion you wanted, or even (whispers) none!
… in his time people were very concerned about ‘privacy’, there were no cameras in people’s houses, and they even threw fits about cameras being in the streets!
… in his time everyone learned to read. i think he even (whispers) went to a university
it’s been a while since the future was bright
