Done! I took a break from the regularly scheduled prompts to do something different–I was challenged to write a story in someone else’s style, using their characters. It was difficult, but I think I pulled it off!
Next week I’ll continue with the song prompts as usual.
In other news, I’m in the second round at DSF again! This means I’ve made it past the slush readers, and my story has roughly a 50% chance of being accepted. If it is… I can finally join SFWA!
